JAMES HAGUE

James Hague was born in 1970 in the United Kingdom. Graduated with MA in Painting from Royal College of Art in 2006. He is currently based in London and Copenhagen. Hague won the prestigious BP Portrait Award at the National Portrait Gallery in 1996 at the age of 25. Hague is known for his portrait work in which he attempts to capture subtle emotions and cerebral introspection. His work has been placed in multiple public and private collections in England, Europe and the US.
