13点の新作を発表し、3m越えの大作「The Last Supper (最後の晩餐)」をお披露目いたします。

THE ANZAI GALLERY is delighted to present “You know how much I love you,” a solo exhibition by South Korean artist Hyangmok Baik. This exhibition will feature one of his largest and most captivating paintings to date, "The Last Supper".

You know how much I love you

It was my mother's morning greeting.
It was the habitual expression of someone I loved.
It was my friends' playful banter.

But I found it so hard to say it, to say it out loud.

And then
still do.

내가 널 얼마나 사랑하는지 알잖아.

우리 어머니의 아침 인사였다.
내가 사랑한 사람의 습관적인 표현이었고
내 친구들의 장난섞인 농담이었다.

그런데 나는 그 말을, 말로 내뱉는게 참 어려웠다.

그리고
지금도 그렇다.
